Book Review: FALL by Tiffany Noelle Chacon

If you didn't read my review (and interview with author Tiffany Noelle Chacon!) of JUMP, click here to read it. In it I also explain how I found Chacon and her amazing books and why they mean so much to me.

Title: FALL: A Clean Enemies-to-Lovers New Adult Equestrian Romance (Equestrian Dreams: A Florida Sweet Romance Series Book 2)

Author: Tiffany Noelle Chacon

Year Published: 2023

Publisher: Write Horse Publishing

What's it about?:  Anya, Mila, and Alex have started a center for wheelchair users to interact with and ride horses, but life isn't as good as it should be for Anya. She can't stand the new therapist Alex hired, an accident at the center could make them loose everything, Mila is busy with her relationship, and Alex may be deported.

Thoughts:

As soon as I finished JUMP I was ready to fall right into the next book, but it wasn't out yet! It finally is and I couldn't love it more!

This was another fabulous book that I never wanted to end, yet I was rushing to get to the end to know what happened.

So much happens in this book. Unlike JUMP, FALL follows three characters' perspectives. They share one major problem but also have their own personal problems to deal with throughout the book. Each character has their own very distinct voice, yet they all reflected the inner worry most of us have about being alone no matter who's around you. I admit, there were times I was yelling at the characters to just talk to each other!

Chacon did an amazing job capturing Anya's feelings of sadness and loneliness. I could feel the emotion pouring off the pages. I could feel her pain and was suffering with her.

"And I think that's what love is: when one person is down, you pick them up. It doesn't have to be fifty-fifty all the time; that's just not realistic. Love is carrying the extra weight when your partner is down and out. And, sometimes, when you're both laid low, it's laying in the mud together until you can summon the strength to get up."
- Alex, FALL, Tiffany Noelle Chacon

JUMP is a friends-to-lovers story. FALL is an enemies-to-lovers story. Friends-to-loves is sweet, but so much fun can happen in an enemies-to-lovers story. I don't want to give too much away, but I really enjoyed the storm scene (once everyone was safe) and the dancing (who know I could love reading about dancing so much?)!

Romance stories can sometimes be one-dimensional. That can sometimes be a thing to love about them, but Chacon did not keep FALL one dimensional at all! She didn't keep it a secret that this is an enemies-to-loves story, but she did keep some big secrets about the ending! (Which I obviously won't spoil here!) I was in literal shock by some of the revelations, I was so worried about the outcome of others, and I found a hint about the next book (I'm so excited for book three!). To find out all of these things, you'll have to read the book...

Honestly, my only complaint is that there weren't enough of the horses, especially Cyrus. Cyrus was so important in JUMP but he was hardly seen in FALL. I do have it on good authority though that there will be at least two more books, so I'm excited to see how and where the horses come back into play in every character's life!
